Martes Sport, a chain of large-format sports stores, is expanding its warehouse capacity and will lease space from 7R in Czechowice-Dziedzice, Silesia. In connection with the expansion of its operations, particularly its e-commerce division, the company will occupy over 21,000 sq m of warehouse space, as well as an office of approximately 1,000 sq m, in the 7R BTS Beskid III facility. The company will be able to move into the new space in the second half of 2022.
Martes Sport offers clothing, footwear, and sports and outdoor products at 360 brick-and-mortar locations and online. The Bielsko-Biała-based company has decided to lease space at 7R BTS Beskid III, a modern warehouse and logistics park that has been awarded a BREEAM rating of “Very Good.”Construction of the facility for Martes Sport will begin in January 2022 and will take nine months.
The building will offer a range of amenities, including a storage height increased to 10.6 meters across an area of approximately 8,200 square meters. It will also feature a 20-bay forklift charging station, as well as a dock layout tailored to the tenant’s operations. The new warehouse will primarily serve as a significant boost to Martes Sport’s ever-growing online sales, which are currently a key focus for the company.
