A highly specialized 7R warehouse for Pharmalink

Pharmalink to open a transshipping hub in 7R Park Łódź West I. The developer adjusted the space to meet the tenant’s strict requirements related to pharmaceutical storage and distribution. The tenant was represented by AXI IMMO.

7R Park Łódź West I consists of two buildings of 27,000 and 5,000 sqm. Pharmalink, a provider of logistics solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, will occupy around 6,000 sqm of warehouse and almost 1,000 sqm of office space. 2,000 sqm in the first building will be used to store veterinary pharmaceuticals and the whole of the second building will serve as drugs warehouse. Space will be commissioned for use in Q2 this year.

Once again, we have faced the built-to-suit challenge to fit the customer’s scope of operations. Fortunately, the agreement was signed early enough in the development process to design the facility meeting all details and solutions with the needs and standards necessary for drugs distribution. I am convinced we have managed to deliver all the requirements and to ensure our customer can run all their operations efficiently.

The space leased by Pharmalink allows to control the temperature range between 15 to 250 C. Cooling storages installed in both buildings guarantee storing pharmaceutical products in temperatures from 2 to 80 C. The cross-dock building is additionally equipped with auto docks which keep the inside temperature for as long as possible during loading.

The 7R Park Łódź West I warehouse has a strategic meaning for us because it will be serving as a pharmaceutical products transshipping hub for our customers across the whole country. We very much appreciate the fact that 7R was able to meet all of the needs and strict requirements for storing drugs. Also, a perfect location, close to our distribution centre which we are part of, was crucial for us.

7R Park Łódź West I is the fourth development of 7R in Łódź. Its location in the close vicinity of A1 and A2 motorways ensures easy local, national and international transportation.

Among many client’s requirements for the new warehouse, such as the technical aspect, the investment schedule and proximity to the company’s headquarters were equally important. 7R was the only developer on the market which was able to deliver a technically advanced project in the required time frame. Also, 7R Park Łódź West I is located just a few hundred meters from the Pharmalink’s headquarters.
